Hey Folks,
Son seized the crank bearings on his KX85 I believe?
Almost ready to split the cases but hit a snag with removing the stator.
One of the phillips screws is extremely tight and I am on the verge of stripping the head. Damn, why don't they use sockethead capscrews?
Anyway, from looking at the stator, it doesn't appear to me that it even has to come off to split the cases? Is this correct? I already have the magneto off and that looks to me to be all that is necessary on that side of the case?
