I can't seem to tune the midrange on a CB350K. It has a fixed needle position. Idles great, WOT great, very rich on midrange. I checked float level with temporary sightglasses and level is about 2mm below mating surface of the bowl. Are new jets my only option? I thought that was only for WOT condition. Thanks for the help.

Mikesclemons.

The float level for the CB350 depends on your serial #. What is your serial #?

If I remember correctly, the CB350 uses a constant velocity type of carb. These work off of vaccum. Inorder for them to work properly the engine has to be in good condition, (good compression) and the air-way's in the carbs have to be very clean.

On the top of the slides, there should be a rubber diaphram. Check the diaphrams very close for cracks or holes. Replace them if you find any. Also, check that the needles are not bent..

Most likely you don't need new jets, just clean out the ones that you have.

Just my $ .02
