do you think there would be any benefits in having your piston ceramic coated?
performance?
longivity of top end?

Just do the dome, It will lower the piston temp and keep the spark knock down with normal gas.

Insulating the piston crown tends to have the opposite effect. It becomes much more sensitive to fuel quality. For most two-stroke riders thermal barrier coatings serve no useful purpose.
