Just Bought an X-Chain for my 2002 CRF450 and the 1mm Spacer?
I think that is what the dealer sold me-

But Now the Chain is eating my tire-

Any Suggestions?
Different Tire?
More Air Presure?
or is this just part of the advantages of
using an x-chain? :bang:

What width tire are you running? Is the chain tensioned and aligned properly? Are all of the chain guides installed and are any of them bent? Is the rim centered in the swingarm?

The x-ring is not much wider than a standard chain. If it hits the tire that bad, it would probly hit with a standard chain. Look at the things 76 said.

I would bet that when you put the wheel back on, you got the spacers in wrong and now the wheel is off-center. Or else you have the wheel mis-aligned because you're using different marks on each side of the adjusters...

Or it could be if you have a wider than normal tire, I have had this. But if it didnt happen before it could be somthing diffrent.
