hey i have a yz85 and a vforce delta 2 in it, i got the vforce back in november or october and i was jsut wandering how often do i need to change the reeds

Change them when they are hanging open, cracking or frayed at the corners. As far as a time frame, it all depends on how much you ride, and how hard you are on your bike. Hope that helps.

It'll get hard to start, sign of worn reeds. Other than that, do what 165 said and inspect them periodically.
