I have a ' 96 CR125 with 13/51 sprockets. I would like to change the gearing to get more out of the low end . Has anyone experimented with anything different? I'm not sure as to what ratio I'd have to get to accomplish this.
You will need a rear sprocket with 1 or 2 teeth more to lower the gearing a bit...Make sure you have the bike jetted properly. A rich or lean airscrew setting or incorrect slow jet will take away some low-end power and throttle response out of the turns..
