changing over clutch basket

Anyone know what's invovled in replacing a stock 95kx250 clutch basket with a hinson. Not really sure how you change over the drive gear and starting gear, it does look like a press fit. Any info would really help, i will be getting the parts early next week. Thanks..........

not hard, you have to grind the rivets off the stock basket to get the ring gear off, the new hinson will come with screws to bolt the ring gear onto new hinson basket

Hinson will give you instructions. It's easilly done, just MAKE SURE you use loc-tite red (strong) on the screws that replace stock rivits.

Thank guys that's a big relief, now getting the engine cases together without a hitch and i'll be ready to rock-n-roll :aj: I really appriciate the help..............
