Is the CT River Motocross Practice Track Closing?

Here's your chance to help keep it up, running, and better than ever!

More widely know as the Rocky Hill Practice Track or "The worm farm" located in central CT, this easy to get to, fun and variety filled MX track may go away without your support!

After 7 years of operation, owner/operator Ed Peruta is turning in his dozer keys.

Is this the end of the Rocky Hill track?
The only legal, open to all, publicly accessible track in CT?
Ed is currently deciding wether or not the track closes or if the track will be turned over to new management who would be looking to take over operations of the track and invest a LOT of time, money and effort into whole course improvements(including watering systems).
This decision will not be based on money or 'outside pressure to close' from anyone.

IT WILL DEPEND ON POSITIVE RIDER SUPPORT!

For those of you who have always loved the CT Motocross track, or like those of us who have gained an appreciation for all the this great training and fun riding track has to offer, NOW is the time to speak out!

Please take the time to stop by the CTMotocross.com web site bulletin board and show your appreciation for what Ed and his crew have offered over the last 7 years and your support for keeping the track open!

If you sit on your butt and say nothing, you have only yourself to blame for another lost riding spot! Please take the time to show your support.

Opportunity is knocking!
Please go and answer the door.

Thankyou for your time and support,
-Mark Tolokan

I hope they dont close down. We didnt even get a chance to ride up there this year.
Hope they can work something out to keep it open.

 Things seem to be going in the right direction, but if you live/ride at all in the Connecticut area, you should definitely stop by the message board and show your support.

Thanx
