Clutch Adjustment

So i just put a new clutch in and the screw on the clutch lever is all the way out, i pull in the clutch about halfway and it engages is it any other way i can adjust it?

My cr has an mid-cable adjustment. Other bikes have a secondary adjustment at the clutch end of the cable, where it attaches to the case.

yes im sure i put it in correctly

my money is on the little ball that goes between end of the clutch push rod and the hat type push rod that touches the pressure plate was left out.

On my bike there is a locknut & screw on the center of the clutch.

You slack off the locknut, tighten the screw in gently till you feel resistance then tighten the locknut.
