I am working on an '80 KDX250. the gear on the clutch basket has a very small amount of back & forth play. the gear looks to be sandwiched between the basket and a plate with the gear in the center and several solid rivets holding it all together. can/does this need to be tightened up or is the a small amount of damping there? I got down to this so I can replace the crank seal on the that side, it's sucking tranny oil. does Kawasaki still have this seal? is there a better(read cheaper) place to get it? seems my local dealer gets list plus about 50% for everything he sells.
