clutch shaft help! can't get it out

Hi I was riding went to stop and clutch would not disengage. Had to push start and ride 1st gear back. Pulled clutch apart the shaft that the clutch basket is on is loose that might be normal. But I can't get the clutch shaft out of the center of that shaft.

Tip the bike over on the right side, it should fall out.

i get a pair needle nose pleiers on the end of it and cant pull it out it is stuck in there

If you pull the clutch lever, does it protrude so you can get a better hold on it?

no, I got the lever out that the clutch cable hooks to by twisting it .then i got the shaft to come out a little bit more but not much i can get a good bite with the pliers and cant pull it out. Is it normal for the shaft that the basket is on to be loose or rock back and forth?
