Anyone have a Cobra GPS100? I ordered one an got it today. I took the battery door off, put batteries in and tried to put the door back on. The threads are stripped out of the hole that holds the door on. Now I have to pay to ship it back and hope the next one is not crap.
This is a cheap gps unit but not a cheap piece of equipment. Should have been better quality imo.
You get what ya' pay for and in the world of GPS units $100 doesn't buy much.
Just like with tools, you can buy a Snap-On or even a Craftsman tool for $25 or a MIT (made in Taiwan) for $5 they both ratchet the socket but one will give you bloody knuckles.
