We've got a Boxer named Lucy. A sweetheart to us and our baby girl, but a downright menace to strange people poking around the yard/neighborhood. You'd be a fool to test her.
Pepper isn't good for much except playing catch and digging holes.
They do require walks, food, some scratching, and cleanup.
And my parents have a German Shepard named Bo. They don't have to worry about locking the house. Seroiusly.
Sorry to hear about it though, it sucks to work hard and be honest, only to have jerks claim your rewards.
