Let's get together and ride! We have two places down here in my part of Western Kentucky to ride trails. I have never ridden a track so I don't keep up with them, but I am willing to drive to a track and ride with some people around. Anybody have any ideas?

Wish I would have seen this earlier.

We're going to LLs tomorrow and Sat.

Any time you guys want to ride, let me know. We haven't ridden at Turkey Bay in a while, but plan on going. We have mainly been riding at Wildcat (just outside of Murray, KY) and Linton.

Shoot me an email or call me when you want to ride. I used to organize a spring LBL and fall LBL ride for DRN. I need to start getting those together again.

if yall ever wanna do any ridin in southeast ky, let me know. we have more sweet singletrack than you could ride in a life time !! also thousands of acres of re claimed strip mines... sweet....im in the cumberland gap area of tn. were always on the look out for more trail ridin buddys !!! :nod:

you guys live far from kentuckiana.i call louisville area kentuckiana.
up coming woods races are ;4th korhs,clay city,ky
11th lynnville,in-mid south
18th liethfeild,ky oma/korhs
after the racing is over,i`ll be looking for trails to ride near louisville

Hey all,
wow it has been a long time since I have been on the site but it feels great to be back. Mike from Indianapolis and son, Lee. I have two other sons that can come out riding now. I have not rode a dirt bike for a year and a half. My last big offroad adventure was in Moab, Utah in 2005.
Well I am in the process of dusting off the bikes and gettin back in the dirt.
Lee and I had a couple great rides with Cal, Paddy,Sarge, Jaybird and others. I can't wait to get back down there. I am also looking forward to riding eastern KY. again.
I have tenative plans to ride Hatfield McCoy the 4,5,6 of Dec. and Moab April 20-26th.
I know I will be rusty so you guys would have someone to laugh at.
I can't make it this weekend but fyi, there is a buddy race near LBL in Cobb,KY. Info for it can be had by contacting the guys at msws.org
So, who is goin where and when?

Good to hear from you guys.
I was actually thinking about you the other day when I was talking to a guy about riding the Devil's Backbone. I remembered you asking about that place.
This is a shot of the actual landmark they call Devils Backbone. It now sits on a US Army reservation that has been abandoned.
The facility runs into a 1500 acre piece of land that a developer rents out to hunters. This whole place is all sort of landlocked and very hard to access.
But, I do have some great info concerning the possibility of a ride there, if interested.
Pretty knarly stuff for IN.

Good to hear from you too.
I road the street bike to Devils backbone years ago. It is pretty knarly. Definetly let me know what you find out about a ride there.

Outside of Charlestown, is where this place is located. Just NE of Louisville. Just about across the Ohio river from Prospect, KY.

i couldn`t get it to work.i live near elizabeth,in.
that`s sounds like a great place to ride if it ever gets dry enough.
do you have writen permission?can you add 2 more riders?
we sign waivers and pay gate fees.we have medical coverage.

I Don`t Like To Talk About Private Riding Places On Web Sites Because
If The Wrong Type Riders Can Go There And Cause Enough Trouble In 1 Day,
The Place Will Be Shut Down Like They Did Maucport .a Quad Rider Dumped
A Bunch Of Beer Cans In A Pile By The Road.the Cops Caught Him.
But If You Ride A Bike,send Me A Private Message.there Is A Little Bit
Of Riding Around Here.

Well I started this and then quit riding bikes and switched to quads just for laziness. I am still a responsible rider and just enjoy riding. I haven't been out to Turkey Bay for a while, but I am going to try and get out in March some. Glad to see some guys are getting out around here and riding. Whenever I used to ride my bike at LBL all I ever saw were quads, yet I never saw them riding any of the difficult trails. I sure miss only having to worry about two wheels when going through all the rocks. I will try to check back here more frequent if you guys don't mind one of the responsible quads riding with you.
