comparing xr250 and yz/kx250f powerbands.

i wish i had a xr250 engine (but with a little more power) stuffed inside a motocross bikes frame/suspension, is this dream for sale with the 250f's?

i loved the way xr250 was torquey but still fast,,but i'd like to have some extra midrange hit in it for coming out of corners heading for a jump,,, the kdx220 had too much low end and not enough rev. do the 250f's have more power than an XR?

For one thing I can asure you a 250F has more power than a XR250. The a XR's are detuned to make a easy to ride trail bike. Yes the XR's go faster because they're potential dual sports.

The KDX will out rev a XR250 anyday. I don't mean it will go faster. A KDX has way more top than a XR. The KTM 300EXC has even more torque than a KDX and top end too. The KTM is more pricey than a KDX and you'll want to get a fairly new one but after you over haul your fisrt 4 stroke you'd be glad got a 2 stroke. If you get a KDX get a 1995 or newer(parimeter frames).
