Complete Overhaul: Stock or Works?

I am about to spend some money making my '99 KDX 200 look good. :cool:
The question is Stock or Aftermarket?

I plan on changing the following:

Graphics
Pipe + Exhaust
Light (currently Acerbis 35w x2)
Fenders (currently UFO POS's)
Handgaurds
Front Wheel
New tires

ANY suggestions are welcome!!

I'm doing the same.

I'm putting on a Electrex Dakar dual sport kit with hi-low beam. I will probably try to change this over to a brighter halogen bulb if possible. - http://www.electrexusa.com/Electrex_Dakar_INTRO.html

As for wheels, when mine go I want to get something with black rims and if I can find them, green spokes.

ok here are soem suggestions... for tires... get Dunlop 756's front and back, regardless the type of riding you do, unless its 100% street riding.

Maier Rear Fender in either green or black.

03 KX front fender in either green or black. (bolts right up)

Guts racing Flamer seat cover

can you post some pics of your KDX with the XGX graphics? (I think it's you with that bike)

I was thinking of going with the Devourer http://www.xgxracing.com/images/kawasaki/kx250f_dev.html

but I'm not sure how it will look on my green tank shrouds... maybe time to order new shrouds? :p

When it comes to riding, i dont touch pavement. I ride at a place called Royal Blue in Tennesee, and i have always found more mud than dry ground. I'm looking to performance more than looks but the graphics are a must. I plan on doing some hair whips when im done (a little competition is always good). The devourer was nice but its not my style. Hell, It's just going to be covered in mud anyway.

When i ride, i ride with my cousin and his friend who both have newer bikes, an '02 wr and an '02 cr, but people still complement on my '99 KDX every time. Gotta keep that goin on.
