Connectivity Issues

For the last few weeks, when I click a link to view a thread or go to or from the photos page, about 1/3 of the time, it seems like the browser gets hung up for an innordinate amount of time. Down in the lower left it says "Connecting to site DirtRider.Net". Eventually the screen flashes and it connects. This happens at work on the T1 and at home both on my dial-up and with the new DSL. Is it just the volume of hits nowadays? Just curious.

I get the same thing at times. I bet it's just the volume.

Never happens at work but always at home. Its like the machine stutters then spits out the page. I thought adding memory would help but it didnt. If you ever figure it out please let me know.

it does this for me here at work too, IE version 5.1 on Macintosh OS 8.6 with T1 LAN connection :think:

I think it may involve filling up your cache.
Empty your temp files, reboot (full off re-boot) and defrag once a week.
And get rid of all those porn cookies! :)
