A friend of mines 97 cr250 has a bad case of chronic water pump seal failure, the water side of the pump, a new seal will last a few months but thats about it, it appears that where the gear rides in the hole inside the case is slightly egg shaped, thus causing a slight wobble of the gear,shaft and impeller, and eventually seal failure. my thought is if the hole in the case could be machined out and a brass insert installed to get it back within tolerances,, has anyone else had this problem or any ideas or kits to fix this? drilling it out is easy,,finding the insert to put it back is where im stuck!! thanks cw242
