We are planning to go to Ontario to the Corduroy this week. A few of us are getting cold feet because of the possible wait to get back into the states(rumors of 6 to 9 hour lines at customs). Can anyone verify if this is true? We will be crossing late sunday or early monday.

The wait for cars is back to normal. Dont worry. You will be across the border in no time. Transports are the only things that are having to wait a long time. Make sure that you have all your info like passports, birth cert, bike ownerships, licence etc... to make the crossing easier. The Cord should be a good run this year. First time that it wont be a mud run. Its been dry as a fart up here all summer! Run lots of air in your tires, I swear the rocks are getting bigger!

It was a long 2 days - 75 miles on Sat. and 125 miles on Sunday. There was nothing terribly difficult but just a lot of rocks and water holes. Some sections had rocks the size of a house to ride over. The water holes weren't very deep(unlike last year), but you had to be carefull. They had some really nice sections and the scenery was unbelievable on the transfer sections. It was pretty grueling with the rain on Sat. combined with over 11 hours of riding over 2 days, but was well worth the trip. All 5 in our group finished with no major injuries. I'm getting some verbal abuse about cherry picking the 4 stroke B class since only 2 finished in this class. Glenn Buchannon won overall with a VERY impressive ride. He is as nice of a guy as you could meet and also one the last national up there this year.

Hey cjKTM,
How was the border crossing?
If you're looking for another good ride this weekend, are you aware of the Great Pine Enduro?
