Cost of a brand new 2001 KTM 400SX?

The shop by my house has a 2001 400sx and 520sx left over. Before I go down to haggle over the price I'd like some opinions as to what my starting bid should be. These bikes have been sitting outside since they arrived and I would like to use this to my advantage. Another shop quoted me $6000 for a brand new 400SX so I might just wait if I don't get a better deal.

Any help is appreciated.

More than $500 worth of suspension upgrade on the '02. Choose the later model. Let him keep his '01s.
