Covering radiators in cold weather?

After a major rebuild my sons cr 125 will be used for the first time in over a month on Saturday.Temperature around here is just above the freezing point at the moment,should I cover up the rads?

No. Just make sure that you let the engine warm up completely before riding it.

Breaking in the engine in cold weather needs to be done with caution. Do several heat up/cool down cycles before getting on it too much.

Would running straight antifreeze help keep the engine warmer? Because I ride alot in the winter (anything from tight trials, to wide open ice), and wouldn't want the engine to be running to cold.

Run a 50/50 mix. The engine will stay hot unless you are running in sub zero temperatures. I honestly don't know at what outside temp that you would have to start worrying about but I've ridden in the low 20's with no problems.
