I was changing the trans oil in my son's '01 CR 125 this evening. When I pulled the drain plug, a stream of milky gray oil ran out of the case. Not good. I checked the rad and found it to be empty. So...the coolant is making it's way into the case. Any ideas on how it is getting in there? I figure I might as well order the parts for a top end while I'm at it.

mmmm, milkshake... Sorry. When you pull the clutch cover off and pull the water pump apart, check the water pump shaft and bearing. If it's the original bearing and shaft, they are probably worn.

also before you put oil in the bottom end again make sure you clean it out with diesel fuel or sumthing because if you don't that milky oil will haunt you.
