Help.... new rider with littel experience of suspension set up.

Have located thread that indicates stock shock settings as 12 out for comression (top clicker) & 12 out for rebound (bottom clicker)

Can't find any suggestions for forks though.
Also where are the clickers on the forks?

Craig,
Rebound is the little brass screw in the top, and Comp is the little screw underneath the rubber plug, on the very bottom of the fork leg.
I am unsure what stock is, but usually ~middle on both C and R is "stock"...follow the general guidelines that Eric Gorr has on his site and u should be fine.
FYI: once u start getting a little speed over abrupt, short, edged-type obstacles, that shock WILL kick pretty badly upon rebound, (unless it has been re-valved), so don't worry about trying to completely cure that malady, when you finally experience it. I have two f these bikes, but have the front and rear doen one both, and Race Tech std gold valves in the f and r onf one, as well. The g-valves are veery nice...once u get fast enuff to need it, I recc' them.
EXCELLENT bike choice, btw!

Thanks for that. Good advice well explained.

I'll try the mid settings this weekend & will visit Eric Gore to review the set up info.

Glad you like the bike choice; I'm planning to have some work done on the suspension as my experience improves. There are several highly rated suspension specialists in the UK although I'm not sure if we can get race tech parts.

my e mail is "contracts@smdltd.co.uk" - send over some photos of your bikes if you're inclined. No problem if you'd rather not.

Appretiate your help & advice.
