What is the best year for the CR's? i am looking for green sticker so needs to be newer than 03. I mean what year makes the most power, best suspension. and what years don't have that damned single radiator?? I am going to buy a CR in a few weeks just wanted to know what you guys think??

02 up did away with the single radiator. 02 is the newest green sticker and probably has the best suspension. 97/98 were first generation aluminum frames, some people didn't like them. 96 has a good all around package, last year of the steel frame and very refined. The only other one I have experience with is the 87. The suspension is so-so, but it's got a mean motor.

the 01 doesnt have the single radiator and it was the last year before they went to that case reed / electric power valva stuff that didnt pan out that great. the 02 thru 07 are pretty much the same bike except for BNG and maybe a new gen frame.
