I was riding at hangtown today and had a big crash. My radiator got pretty banged up and it cracked in the corner. I was wondering if there is an easy way to fix this like using JP welder quickset or something like that.

Thanks for any help.

epoxy will work for a temporary fix. how much time devoted to cleaning and prepping the area for epoxy will determine whether temporary means hours or months of riding.

If you try to force some epoxy into the hole it will mushroom so it can’t fall out. Clean with Brakeclean or paint thinners or something before. Devcon will probably work best as an epoxy.

You could get a GOOD ally welder to fix it for you if it is in an easy place & the hole/tear is big enough to worry.

JB Weld is the trick. I've used it before and it has been holding on a CR250 radiator for some 4 years now with no signs of leaks at all. ;)
