When looking inside my gas tank today I noticed a cracked area. The cracked spot is located at the lower radiator shroud bolt attachment area on the right/kickstarter side of the bike. I can see a bulge in which would lie the threads for the lower bolt that holds the radiator shroud on, and there is a large crack right there.

Why is my tank not leaking?

Somebody told me that this is normal? How can that be?

Has anybody seen this before?

What should I do?

I had a 94 CR250 but never had this problem. The only problem I had with mime was keeping it on two wheels. I had the cyclinder ported by EG and that thing was so fast it was ridiculous. Faster than the suspension could handle. Had the suspension revalved by 3 different tuners then finally sold it and bought a 98 KX250. Not as fast a motor but much better suspension. Damn; those 93/94 CR's were crazy fast. Good luck and hang on!
