I would like to have the crankshaft on my KX500 rebuilt and trued. Who is recommended to do this service? Any tips on what I should do while I have this apart. Thanks!
Send it to Eric Gorr, he's close by to you ifn you hail from Illinois. Any reputable amchine shop can also do the service, you may have to provide the rebuild kit which is avaialble from mosy aftermarket catalogs. I've used Eric and he's fair. He just moved to a new shop, from Wisconsin to near the windy city.
