Hi, I'm looking at buying my first dirt bike. I'm thinking of getting the crf230f. I will be riding hilly trails and maybe later on race hare scrambles enduros. Can I race it?
I'm 16 5'10 160 lb
So the question is will I out grow/want more power in a few months?

Most likely you are going to want more sooner than later. The 230 is a great bike to learn on and will put a smile on your face with less expense over the long run than a race bike. The race bike will stretch your arms more and empty your pockets sooner. At 16 you will likely grow some more(rapidly I'll bet) so don't count out a bigger machine for the long haul.
BTW, in the For Sale section their is a 2000 CR250 for sale/trade. You might consider a two stroke, I sure like mine.
