Nice shot, can't say I dig the (color) conversion though.
Was there more space above his head in the original?
If possible, I probably would move him out of dead center, ie; a little more on the top and since he's looking that way, a little more on the left.

i agree about the space to the left, but that was all i had on top. poor framing!

that was also my first whack at a duotone conversion. just trying to learn more about black and white.

Will see this thread for duotone conversions, page 2. It is super easy and really flexible. You can tweak color without jacking your image.

no LOL it is not jacked. Just offering an easy way to do duotones that allows an easy way to alter color without actually altering detail pixels.

that's just a style preference thing. thump's image looks great, but to me, it's just plain grey/black and white. not saying the greenish i picked for my duotone is better, just different. i'm searching....
