Hi Jeremy,is the cylinder Valve replacement kit that Race-tech supply a better option than the suspension-tech bottoming kit for the Kayaba forks on the WR450f?Which one works better?
Also does the valving specs come with each one or do you have to revalve yourself?
As i live in Australia it is not a option to send my forks to you.I have all the shims and the tools to remove the cylinder valve's as i did my Wr 250 Last year.Mark Hammond sent me the shim stack to try and it works great.
Thanks for your time.

Fairdinkum,
IMO the CV works better than the oil lock system. The Cv allows the fork to purge emuslified oil quickly making the pressure rise in the system faster, so the fork works more effiecnelty and consisistently. The RT deals add lots of stiction, and don't allow the CV to do its job.

If you have a leaker just machine off the crimped ring, and then clean rebuild, and space it back out with high qulaity machine washers.

Jer
