For those of you whose had their cylinders bore to a bigger size, did you notice a change in gas mileage...just wondering. :fft: Is it worth the change to do it. i know Canadian Dave and probably some others preach by it. But just wanting to get the mass opionion (guess that's how you spell it). Can anybody answer that!

Yes there was a change in mileage. About 10% less per tank I'd say....But a LOT more power! A worthy trade-off IMO. Most of the guys I ride with are on 2-stroke MXers so if we're riding over 50 miles we set up a gas stop anyway.
Gorr's 225 job gives the 200 a near stall-proof "tractor" bottom end and a screamin' "hold on tight & pray" top end.
Some guys would surely go for the extra mileage over the extra power, I guess you need to decide what's more important to you. You could always get a bigger tank.
