The house was a different experience... I felt for the photographer sitting there inhaling all those fumes. Some stairs would have been cool.

BBarel - What's the deal on your shoulder? I heard you were just riding along and POP! I saw you on the side of the trail standing up next to your bike... But I thought you were just pulling your panties outta your ass. :moon:

Paul North wins the "Had A Sh!tty Day But Kept Smiling" award. Buried up to his engine in the first mud hole, then submerges his bike in 3' trench nobody even saw. And, still manages a 2nd place C-class finish!

Don Marsh wins the "Best Looking Bike Laying On It's Side" award. Better to have a broken bike than a broken body.

It was good to see Bryan Marsh back out racing again... stay healthy, and keep your dad honest. Nice how he calls the old Brick a beater AFTER getting the YZ. :rotfl:

Young Ted wins the Iron Man award... again. He rode the whole damn thing, including some very steep, short walls that you definitely don't want to screw up on.

DW and CW win the prettiest bike award. D-Dub's bike is so friggin' sweet and polished it belongs in a museum.

Fast Freddy was railing the trail for the brief periods I saw him... must be the good karma from lending me the brake pads... Thanks buddy!

F&S placed very well in the A-class, er.... whoops. I mean Hi-Pointed the B-class..... again.

Trash is the only one who scored with the ladies that weekend, but with the hardbody distraction, his spank-bank was pretty full.

Missed check #10? I was riding like a zombie the last 12 miles.... don't know how I even made the check. Had rear brake problems about 8 miles from the end. Said screw it for a few miles, then figured I had to stop hitting trees and blowing corners. I think a race hasn't gone by where my rear brake hasn't failed me in some way.

Overall perfect weather and a great race! Having MTR there is what makes it though!

Yep shoulder just disloacted going through the whoops after gas. I dislocated/injured it playing hockey on Feb-19 and now the joint is unstable. Surgery is scheduled for August-7 and recovery is about 4 months. Man I felt like I was riding pretty good too and felt great at gas. Oh well, I guess there's always next year...
