To end his career in MX he had a crash that left him paralized. It has not stopped him though :)

no, i meant he said he remeberd the bars being yanked and that was it, did he land on his neck wrong, or did the bike hit him in the back or something?

If I remember correctly, he tried to jump something that no othe pro had even attempted and came up short. Seems like it was a huge jump and the landing was really steep (I can imagine the track designers weren't thinking someone would even be landing on it). When you go big and come up a few feet short it's always bad. At a minimum he'd probably have been looking at all kinds of broken bones and he's probably lucky to be alive.

I wonder what his wife thinks when she sees him ride with his son? I bet that's emotional overload.
