Daytona Sport Bike (SPOILER)

I had a chance to visit with Danny Eslick a couple of weekends ago at a friends get together. Danny had a 45 point lead going into the last race in New Jersey. He felt quite confident and was hopeing to rap up the championship in the first of two races.
Well, he nailed it. He now has 2 championships in the class. 2009 on a Buell and now 2011 on a Suzuki. He has said that he wants to move up to Superbike next season but several racers have said that Dunlop can't make a back tire to last an entire race for him on a Superbike.
Hope to get to ride some trails with him in the upcoming weeks and get schooled on how to flat track in the trees!

It was good to see him win again. Many people unfairly dismissed his earlier championship saying the Buell had an advantage because of the structure of the rules. This should silence the critics once and for all.
