Demographics

I'm interested in finding some demographic information about our sport. Does anyone know of a source that would describe age, income level, type of bikes ridden, etc.? Perhaps dirtrider.net has done a study?

Thought I'd try here first before going to the AMA.

Try contacting the Motorcycle Industry Council, or MIC. They have a ton of stats on the industry.

Their web site is fairly lame as far as content, but the organization itself has a lot of resources, contacts, and industry data at it's disposal.

we did have a post or poll or something to that sort along time ago. maybe someone will remember where it is or went.

The Census Bureau is another possible place. You might have to dig a little more if you use them since they aren't topic specific, but they could have some info available that may be of some help.
