:)

Its all 89r's fault. He made me ride his and I was hooked. It needs some very minor repairs but Im good to go for this weekend.

Only problem I might have is noise. The current White Bros pipe is really loud.

It snowed on the ridges last night and was half melted by this afternoon. I'm working this weekend or I would be tempted to venture out.
BTW: We also got 1 1/2 inches of snow here at the house! Wrightwood got about 8" and driving up there today was a blast! I used all of my off-road skills today on the ice!

I need to at least enjoy it a few times before I hurt myself at the track.

I promise to make one of your track rides with the next 2 months.

So Jeff moved into the big boys bike arena huh? About time! If I can get the bike back together I might be open for Sunday. I have to work Saturday so that day is definately out for me.

Jeff, congrats on the new ride. Those crf's are awesome.

I'm out for this weekend. It's our annual sales conference in Palm Springs. I already tried to get out of it for another event to no avail. Maybe, I'll bring my bike to the golf course. That will surely get me uninvited next year. :uh:

This is becoming a recurring theme for you :uh:

I had the same experience on both Kawi's I owned. I loved them when they ran, they just didn't run for long. My suggestion is pick another color. Orange is becoming quite popular and is my current favorite. :thumb:

Im starting to think your right about the recuring theme. Ill admit, the bike ran great for 3 1/2 solid years but when they start to give you problems its time for something new. Of course I tried this on my wife and she laughed at me. By the end of this year Im getting the CRFX 450 one way or another. I hear the X is set up more for desert. Do any of you know what the difference is between the CRF & CRFX besides price?

Lights, wide ratio gearbox, plusher suspension and rumor is, they get a green sticker. :thumb:

Haven't seen any info about the 450X, but if they apply the same changes as they did for the 250X, it will also get a larger tank, ring chain, spark arrestor, kickstand and 18" rear hoop. Now that's a bike that might lure me over to the darkside. :yeehaw:

You guys have fun at the track. I picked up a new tire and instead of putting it on I decided to tear the bike apart. Its now scattered all over the garage waiting to be cleaned, greased and put back together.

If what you guys say is true about the CRFX that is my kind of bike. Although Im not real keen on the light Im sure I can get used to it. wide ratio and green sticker legal definately make it appealing.

What is a honey do list? Clean my bike, put on new tires, clean air filter, and change my oil.

I'll take care of the rest, house, yard, etc...

Usually a Honey do list is, " Honey will you Do this List I have " :thumb:

But after being gone the last 6 weekends, it is more like " Honey, if you don't Do this ******* List that I've been ******* asking for the last *********weeks, I'm going to cut your ****** *** off

:flame: <--------- That's me, a little turd in hot water
