Who plans on bringing their guitar to Dirt Week? I’m bringing my Martin. I’m well versed in 70’s southern rock (Skynyrd, Allmans, Marshall Tucker, Charlie Daniels, Outlaws, Blackfoot, et al) and can fake my way through a lot of other music, provided I consume enough beer.

What else we got?

Hell, the music didn't even start untill 10pm last year. I could even keep the cucumbers on my eyes because the loud music kept me tossing & turning all night long.

Actually I really don't care. I just wanted to stir the pit a bit..................... :p

Maybe Lou will bring the Pantera Guitar Stack From Hell!!!

I am opting to bring my acoustic guitar. I spend my life playing loud rock and roll, it would be nice to just jam on the flat top a bit.

Roost, should I bring my drums for ya?

last year I brought an electric gtr & amp, drum kit and p.a.. We had 3 gtr players, drummer and no bass. Not sure what all I'll bring this year. We ran off a very small generator that doubled as tent light power, not really enough for much else. Everytime we would sing or play a heavy chord on one of the 2 electrics the lights would dim under the tent.

I would say that acoustics should do the trick then. No need to get crazy since most of the people there are not up for a rock concert. (I am though)

Either that or we get a bigger generator!!!

Bring it on, you'd fit right in.
My daughter brought her clarinet last year.

I would think rounding up a few generators would be no trouble, your welcome to use my Honda EU3000is for the show if more are needed. :thumb:

OK, we're gonna need a rigger, a key grip, best boy, etc, to put the lights and scaffolding up for the show. Rich can handle the pyro. We'll need go-go dancers in cages for sure :yeehaw: anything else...?

Seriously, I'd bring everything I have if there was a way. As it stands now, I'm already making two trips down to haul stuff, and I'm hauling three and a half bikes down for DW, along with all my camping stuff, supplies, etc. And I am so sorely out of practice, as witnessed by Thunder, Rooster and Motometal back at the Bday bash ride.

Dead: :aj: I like it!

Well, I think I will be hauling the 16' enclosed trailer so I can fit both our guitar rigs, the drums and PA in that which I would be more than happy to do.

Good stuff, Dead! Have any CD's for sale?

Dave plays guitar and bass, I play drums and can hold my own on bass (at least until my fingers give out!)

We probably won't have much room left in the trailer for my Tama kit or Dave's Peavey stack, but we'd be happy to sit in for a few if someone needs a break! :aj:

We have a demo out. May have our full cd finished by DW. We are a Do-It-Yourself band so it takes us awhile to record/mix/master/etc. Whatever we have I'll bring to DW. :aj:

wow, how can you do vocals like that for any length of time without totally cashing out your throat? You must wake up every morning and gargle with a mixture of nitric acid and double edged razor blades... :aj:
