Discovery /Mythbusters 500AF

Discovery is running some promotions for their upcoming season of Mythbusters.

We (Service Powersports and a CR500AF) worked with the Mythbuster's on taking a certain myth as far as can be possibly taken..no spoilers , you'll have to watch to find out !
No air dates for the USA yet,but its soon .

In Australia the episode airs May 6th 13, at 7:30 local time (western and eastern) on channel SBS 1 .

Jamie and Adam are true professionals and it was a real blast to work with them.

Really enjoyed the show. The wife even watched... her first time ever watching Mythbusters.

She liked the little segment they did on the bike and said that it was "pretty."

I told her I am still a Yamaha man :)

Finally got to watch it this weekend...very cool!

I was disappointed that we didn't get to see AJ.

Also surprised that he didn't make it all the way on the last run.

I know Jay has done it on a lesser bike. How far have you made it on the water?

Gomer, you saw me just dint know it ;) a few places in the episode.

In the past i've made it about 100 feet before, i'd never taken it out into a lake though!! not wanting to lose my bike! lol

In this case they had a diver (Adam) set up to retrieve the bike ..
Jamie went pretty far!! i certainly never thought he'd cross the entire lake,
we were sure a paddle would help,and had one ready,
but the approach was hard pack clay, and a paddle would rattle your fillings out and not harm the approach the speed needed.
Maybe they will revisit it with a paddle and a sand approach id people write in.

Jamie really manned up for this having so little time on the bike and just ripping it into a lake !!

especially considering during the first run on the bike with the modified floatation had a pretty good get off!
even water hurts at speed!!
