District 17 membership

Do some IL tracks require district 17 membership? I've raced only a few times and it was always at Ottawa. I didn't need it then but this year I'd like to try racing alot more and at different tracks.

truth be known ken you did need that d-17 card to race there if it was a D-17 race. Anyone racing in the district 17 needs to have a d-17 card. If your from another district then we recognize the card from that district.

the tracks are suppose to check for these cards and take care of that.

Do most tracks let you sign up the day of a race?

you bet ken all tracks in D-17 have and will sign you up on race day.......at least that is what the game plan is spose to be!
