I have a 1998 ktm 300 exc. I realy would like to know what brand the forks are for guard reasons and others. They are 50mm cobfirmed by caliper. On the top they have clickers. One side says compresion. And the other rebound i belive. They have a number at the top ( 918s741a )that when put into google all i get is 3 results in a difrent language but have the words Wp in all three. I belive they are wp but i would like to know.

Those forks can be made to work very well.

FWIW, the '98 200 had the 'zokes, 45mm I think.

Thank you. Do u know any were i can get guards for them? The number on the forks is 918S741A

In 98 KTM had the WP Extremes, right side up, and they worked rather well offroad. Unfortunatly this was also the first year for the PDS and it kinda sucked.

If you need I have the OEM manual in pdf

Forgive me but what is PDS? (Sorry im newer)

And i need a service manuel for the bike not parts however.

PDS is the no link shock system..

The manual I have is the OEM owners manual. The manual was scanned by me into PDF format.. I included the original paper manual with the bike when I sold it..
