Dual Sporting/Legalizing a KDX

Anyone have experience with the kits, or any other method of making a KDX street legal?

I used a Baja Designs kit. I'd probably piece it together myself and save some loot. Getting plated in Michigan was a piece of cake. I don't know about Texas though.
