Are you just trying to lower your compression back down for pump gas? If so, try just running a thicker base gasket, or stack two standard ones. That will lift the cylinder slightly and give more room between the piston and cylinder head.

Unless you were running some sort of a cylinder spacer, I believe the porting shouldn't need to change for lower compression. The head should be what was modified for higher compression. Have the head re-machined and you should be fine. As Bswift said, call Eric, he can point you in the right direction.
