Dw'02 Women's Race - Sign-up

Those of you ladies going to Cooperland please give me your input:

a. who will likely be racing?

b. what terrain preferred?
b.1...........MX track
b.2...........MX/Woods combo

c. length of race?
c.1..........20 minutes
c.2..........15 minutes

d. format:
d.1..........xlaps
d.2.........."last one standing/riding wins", dropping last one off each lap after second lap (like last year)

e) classes: A and B... by ability/experience

Any other (DW'02 related) desires or twists?

b. If I had to make a choice I'd do a MX/Woods Combo race

c. 20 minutes. The longer version for sure!

d. As for the format, it doesn't matter to me. If last years format worked out, then try it again I guess. I was hoping there would be a Ladies Harescramble - a lot longer than 20 minutes.

e. Skill level??? LOL! I have no skill!! But I always pick up my bike and get back on it!!!

I will ride in ANY ladies event that you have!

A. MX!!!!!!! I've never ridden in the woods.
B. length of race doesn't really matter a 20 minute moto would be awesome tho!!
C. Format I'd say a set number of laps or maybe 15-20 mins plus one lap that'd be fun!!!!
D. I dunno what the expierence of the lady mxers are that are going, but I've been riding MX for about a year and race in the Novice class, So I'd be in the A group i guess???

don't feel bad Nat - We had tried to organize a HS (not necessarily just guys) and it fell through too I believe. We weren't going to do trophies or anything just organize a nice woods race that would last for at least an hour :(

As of yesterday - a very small chance that we might be coming to DW after all - on Friday afternoon. So if the ladies' race is after 2-3 pm or so on Friday... count me in (if we make it). I prefer MX only, any length of time (15 mins preferred), X number of laps, and I'd be in the A group. :)

The only time I race is at DW. That's why the "Neophyte" is at the end of my name. True Novice. Remember, I don't even want to race little Zoomers.

as many laps as any body wants to go, tank of gas, or 37 laps , which ever comes first. (She might not be fast, but jeeezz she never quits!)

OMG!!!!!

I can't wait for my Nephew Hunter to say that and he is just just about turn 1 y/o soon! :)

Granted I have to wait about 3-4 more years for it to happen :(

a. Count me in, if my wonderful bike loaner person permits me to compete on his machine.


b. A mix of both woods and mx, heavy on the woods, please. MX makes me fall down go boom.

c. Longer is better . . . More chances to recover from hitting the ground.

d. I think I’d rather race a set time or number of laps, due to scoring . . . but I’ve never raced a “last woman standing” format either, so I guess I’m open.

e. DEFINITELY classes by ability/experience . . . NOT by age or CCs; I’ve been annihilated by too many 14-year-olds on bigwheel 80s. (No offense to you 14-year-olds, I’m just jealous.)
