Eli and Kawasaki to part ways after 2021 Nationals. It was an off season for Eli but it's doubtful that's the reason for the relationship ending. 6 years is a pretty good run with one team, maybe it's just time for team green to move on? Where does he land?

Monster Energy Kawasaki and Eli Tomac will not renew their rider agreement following the conclusion of the upcoming AMA Pro Motocross Championship following six successful seasons together and mutually deciding not to pursue a contract extension. As they look ahead to the upcoming Pro Motocross season, the team and Tomac are both committed to earning their fourth championship in the last five years with preparations starting this week.

It will be an interesting year. When Eli is fast, he is damn fast. Otherwise he crashes.

Or...

Sometimes when he gets a bad start, or crashes and gets back up mid-pack, it's like he just gives-up. I've seen him do it several times.

I used to love his late race charges. Of course he got himself into the position of having to do it by having sucky starts. I just hope he gets the monkey off his back and straightens out his head. I like him but have kind of given up.
