Anyone up for a mid-week Elsinore ride ?

Either a Tuesday or Wednesday ride. Kinda leaning towards Tuesday, but might still be able to make it Wednesday if necessary.

Never been to Elsinore so I'll need one of you regulars to show me the fast way around :D

Any takers ??

I'd go with you but I tweaked my ankle on the "fast way" around the Elsinore track on Vet's day. Give me a week or so and I'll give it a go again. You can join us then or check with MXDad, he goes every other day!

Looks like Tuesday is gonna be the day.

a454elk....I don't get down that way too often, but I'm determined to meet "the crew" that ride in that neck of the woods :D

How about it....Bill, MxDad, any others ??

Probably be down there early and stay most of the day. Will try to leave early enough to beat rush hour traffic for the long haul home :eek:

Not sure which vehicle I'll be driving yet, so I'll post later in the week with the details.

Hope to see/meet some fellow DRNr's there !

I'll be there sometime next week ;) I'm not sure if I can make Tuesday, it might have to be Wednesday for me. The boss has to call in for Jury Duty next week, so I may have to cover--in which case--I don't know exactly when I'll be able to ride :mad:

If I can convince my ankle to quit whining and get back in the boot, I'll try and shoot for Tuesday too, early morning. Wed. is out, turkey day lunch at my little girls school. Gotta be there for that!

Doesn't sound like anyone will be able to make it :(
If MxDad and/or a454elk, or anyone else can make it, I'll be driving a dark-blue F-150 Flareside with a YZ426 (no #s) and a 02 CR250 in it.

Bill - still need to coordinate a Sunrise trip in the near future :cool:

Hopefully things will workout for everyone and I'll see you there !!

Hey Cliff,
Don't count me out just yet :confused:

You still planning on Tuesday??

We will definitely plan that Sunrise trip. Maybe the weekend after Thanksgiving (seems like Thanksgiving weekend might be kind of crowded, but who knows).

Elk--If you're going to be going fast enough to overjump the jumps, I'm not sure I want to ride with you anyway :eek:

Hey Bill,

Tuesday is on !

Should be there relatively early, and stay until early afternoon. Where do you recommend to park ? Is there any shade (not that we'll need it)?

My friend is bring a brand new CR250 so looks like I'll be able to do that two smoke thang again......haven't ridden a two smoke for a few years :scream: ought to be interesting.

BTW, was invited to a private riding session at the Hungry Valley MX track on Monday. Should be nice to ride with only 29 other guys on the track :cool:

Looking more like Tuesday for me. Bill, do you konw which day for you yet? MXDude our "usual" parking spot is under one of the shade canopies by the 80 track. Vet track will be closed Tuesday, but the Main and GFI should be open.

I'm probably won't know until the night before :( The director has to call in for jury duty so I'll have to cover if she's gone (and I planned on taking the week off :think ). Hopefully the judges and lawyers will take a little time off so she won't have to go in and I can go ride!! :)

I never planned on the over jump, must have been the awesome power of that 2 stroke Zuki! Seems as though it's taking a little longer to heal than I thought, that age thing is coming into play. Now I know how MXDad feels!

Bad news.....I'm out for tomorrow :(

Took a pretty good spill today at Hungry Valley and won't be able to ride tomorrow. I'm really bummed since I've been trying to get "down south" to meet and ride with some fellow DRNr's for sometime now. Guess it'll have to wait a little longer :mad:

Hey Cliff, hope everything is okay! :scream:

Had a great day at the track(s). They were in great shape most of the time, a little over watered and slick here and there, but a good day of riding.

Hope to meet up soon.
