I have a kx250 2001
below is what your site says on the tuning page----------
If you richen the pre-mix ratio (20:1 as opposed to 30:1) there is more oil and less fuel in the same volume of liquid, which effectively leans the air-fuel ratio.
You can richen the jetting by slightly reducing the pre-mix ratio (less oil). You can lean the jetting by increasing the pre-mix ratio (more oil).
also inthe weather section is alittle confusing
high temps - means jet the bike with smaller or higher numbers ?
-----------
So I'm assuming the leaner the air-fuel ratio the more oil per parts of gas and the leaner the jetting??? I would think the jetting would be richer?
I run pump gas (93 octane) and NGK br8es plus something like that and H1R premix(belray) at 40:1. I live in Florida riding weather is like 85-95 when I last rode (sept). And my plug look like the wet fouled one like I mentione above. I just want to get the plugs to look correct. Also during the winter (colder temps) the bike runs richer or leaner...what do to, jet the bike with smaller number or higher numbers.
