i called up sunoco and they told me they have discontinued the use of MTBE in all of their fuels.....it has been replaced by ethanol.

any ideas on how their GT plus unleaded 260 (260 ep, 104 octane, 4.8% oxygenated) will compare jetting wise to traditional leaded fuels and MTBE based fuels??

any other things we need to know about EtOH based fuels??? i heard that MTBE is banned in Wi and IL, i know that VP even makes U2e and U4e for such markets.

with the big push to E85 fuels in the news, you have to wonder how long MTBE can stay around.

Pump fuels for street use and race fuels are two totally different animals.

Pump fuels haven't had lead in them for several decades. Leaded race fuels are still available today.
