Ok, let me say sorry up front. I was reading this in the August issue of a monthly magazine. The magazine sounds similar to "Dirty Bike" (Why is it that it would be less embarrasing to say I was reading it in Hustler, or even Playgirl???)

Anyway, the "Article" on the e l**e pipe guards said big dents in the exhaust system could cause two strokes to burn reeds? Is this a load, or is it truth based?

I hope I placed this isn the correct forum. I wanted to ask in Erics Forum, but I just could not find the stones to do so.

Thank you guys for answering this. I read more of your posts (and learn more) than you'll ever know. Thanks again for being here.

Sounds like to BS to me. I've heard of dents in the expansion chamber affecting performance, but never of burning reeds. I don't even see how its possible? Theres no combustion at that part of the motor.
