Anyone know what size spacer (roughly) I should use? The bike is a 1990 YZ125. The cylinder is currently at Forward Motion getting a big bore and porting for max. low end. I will be using a 12 oz. flywheel weight as well. The only available pipe is the FMF Fatty, but I could not find any spacer available. I can turn one down in the shop, but I would like a ballpark if anyone has any idea. I was thinking of trying a 3mm first. Yes, I know it's old, but if I remember correctly, the 1990 model had a good cylinder, and with a freshly painted frame and 1992 plastic, it should be a decent looking bike when I'm done, besides, I'm too old to be bouncing off of trees on a current 250. :nener:

Also, if you can make a spacer from your exhaust to cylinder you will get more bottom end power for cheap. Make it about one-eight of an inch thick. Could also try reeds, power blade, and reed spacer. All fairly cheap and give lots of bottom end power to a 125. Hope you have fun.
