Last weekend the offroad hooligans had a year end function in the mountains. We had 3 days of serious riding & camping.

The first day I swopped the Booysens with DF11 reeds. Slight difference in mid-range.
The second day I changed from low to high tension settings on the DF11. I couldnt tell the difference.

I didnt get the bottom end I was after.
Maybe I was xpecting to much.....

"swapped" , not swopped.

What is your jetting specs? If the bike is not jetted properly and running pig rich like it comes off the showroom floor, you will not notice any differences!

I've noticed far greater differences in performance with the dfII between it and the other reeds/reeds systems I've used when the jetting isn't right.

With the stock cage, stock or power reeds and the radvalve.....a jetting error wasn't any huge deal.

With the dfII and one jetsize 'off'...the bike is absolutely a pig. Well, comparatively speaking of course.

I can tell you the jetting for low tension isn't the same as jetting for high.
